Trip #3 Las Salinas, Nicaragua

Trip #2 Las Salinas, Nicaragua
Our second trip to Nicaragua included a team of sixteen volunteers including doctors, nurses, dental hygienists, and interpreters. We traveled to more than eight remote villages to provide free medical care and education. Our team also gave free CPR classes to local teachers and surf guides. We were able to treat more the 800 patients in our week long trip.
Trip #1 April 2013 Las Salinas, Nicaragua
For GivingMore's first official project eight volunteers made their way to Las Salinas, Nicaragua to provide free medical care and education to the surrounding community. Although this was our first trip, we were able to procure over $10,000 in medications and medical equipment to donate to the local clinics. The GivingMore team evaluated and treated nearly 500 patients. Needless to say, our trip was a great success! The conditions treated ranged from chronic malnutrition and parasites to acute vertigo and acute infections. Please view our video gallery below to get a better idea of our experience.
